Steps of Cooking

Beef/Mutton/Chicken 1 kg,4-6 large pieces.
  1. 1. Take a large pan and heat the ghee in it. To this add the garlic and stir it well. Add the meat, bones and Rehmat Nihari Curry Mix to it. Fry it well for few minutes and add 10 glasses of water.

  2. 2. Simmer it and cover the pan and cook it well until the meat is tender. (4-6 hours)

  3. 3. Mix flour to 3 cups of water and pour it into the gravy and mix it evenly. Then remove the bones and cook it further for 15 minutes on a high flame.

  4. 4. Heat up the 1/2 cup of remaining ghee and add the sliced onions to it. Fry well till golden brown and mix it into the Nihari. Cover and simmer it for 30 minutes.

  5. Serve it well:with finely chopped green chillies, julienne ginger and lime juice. Serve it with naans.
Bones 1 1/2 kgs, knuckle & marrow
Ghee/Oil 1 1/2 cups/250g
Ferina 1 - 1 1/2 cups
Wheat Flour 100-150g
Onion 1 medium, finely sliced
Garlic (Paste) 1/2 teaspoons
Rehmat Nihari Curry Mix One Packet (use less for mild hot)
