Steps of Cooking

Meat 1.5 Kgs, small cubes
  1. 1. In 2-3 cups of water, cook the meat, garlic, and ginger and Rehmat Fry Ghosht Masala. Simmer it and let it boil till the meat is soft. About 1 cup of stock should remain in the pot.

  2. 2. Separate in a saucepan, heat ghee/oil and add tomatoes and keep frying them until their juice dries up (about 15 minutes.)

  3. 3. Now in the fried tomatoes, add the meat, stock and green chillies. Then cover it and cook it for 5 minutes on high flame and then simmer it for 10 minutes.

  4. Server it Well:with naans, lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.

  5. Balti Ghosht:

  6. 1. Till step 1 of the Fry Ghosht Reciepe has to be followed.
  7. 2. Then, heat the oil/ghee and add the meat garlic and ginger. Fry them for minutes on a high flame. Stir fry continously. To this add quartered tomatoes, quartered onions and whole green chillies. Cover and cook well for minutes. Add lemon juice before serving.
